Parts reference desk
Find a brake part
by its OE number.
Search a complete OE, OEM or manufacturer reference.
We will help you check the result against your vehicle.
A number match starts the review. It does not approve an upgrade kit or replace a vehicle fitment check.
01 / From reference to specification
A number narrows the search.
The vehicle confirms the route.
An OE number can identify an original caliper, disc or pad. It cannot prove that a larger aftermarket caliper and its bracket will clear your wheel.
- 01
Copy the full reference
Use the old part, label or invoice. Include the prefix and final revision letter; photograph anything you cannot read.
- 02
Search the catalogue
Open plausible results and compare the stated vehicle, component and axle. A similar number is not enough.
- 03
Add vehicle context
Send the VIN or chassis, car and year, axle, wheels and any rear parking-brake details.
- 04
Confirm in writing
The quote should identify the proposed parts, checks completed and any measurement still needed before production.
02 / Complete the first message
Send the number with these details.
You can start a manual review even if the reference is worn or the product is not listed. Tell us which detail is missing so we can ask for the right photo or measurement.
Send a reference for review →- Reference
- Full OE/OEM number, including suffix. Add an old and replacement number if you have both.
- Vehicle
- Make, model, year, trim, market, VIN or chassis number.
- Position
- Front/rear and left/right where applicable; one component, axle pair or complete kit.
- Wheel & disc
- Wheel diameter, width and offset; current disc dimensions and clearance photos.
- Rear layout
- EPB motor, cable handbrake or separate drum inside the disc.
03 / Resolve an uncertain match
Common reasons the result looks wrong.
Keep the original label and compare the complete reference before changing the search. Do not order from a shortened number in a message.
| What you see | What to check | Useful evidence |
|---|---|---|
| A letter or suffix differs | Revision, market or component version. Recopy the complete number. | Close-up of the original label. |
| Left/right results differ | Use the number on the side being replaced; a mirror-image part may use another reference. | Axle, side and a wide photo. |
| Old and new numbers appear | A supersession needs confirmation. Send both references and their source. | Label, invoice or manufacturer record. |
| The car looks the same | Year, trim and market can hide different factory brake packages. | VIN/chassis and current brake dimensions. |
| Only a disc or pad is returned | A component reference does not identify every part of an upgrade kit. | Required kit scope and wheel geometry. |
Taking measurements for the first time? Use the big brake kit measurement checklist, then compare caliper and kit options.
Before you decide
About the reference search.
When a measurement or part version is uncertain, send the vehicle record and a clear photo. We will identify what still needs checking.
Does an OE number match guarantee that an upgrade kit fits?
What if the catalogue returns no result?
Can I send an old number and a replacement number?
Is this a complete manufacturer parts database?

Send the details.
We will check the next step.
Include the car and year, VIN or chassis, wheel details, axle and any reference number. For an installation issue, add the order reference and photos of the exact contact point.
