A privacy policy for vehicle-data-heavy brake caliper and auto parts sourcing
This page explains what information SteedLuxParts collects when buyers submit RFQs, vehicle fitment details, uploaded photos, account data, orders, or support requests, and how that information is used across quoting, shipping, and after-sales handling.
Vehicle inquiry data
We collect the vehicle, brake setup, contact, and delivery details needed to answer fitment and quotation requests.
Photos for review
Setup, installation, packing, label, or damage photos are used only for order review, fitment support, and after-sales handling.
No data resale
Customer information is not sold, rented, or traded to advertisers or unrelated marketing networks.
1. What we collect and why
When you contact us through this website, email, WhatsApp, Telegram, or another business channel, we collect the information you choose to send so we can respond to your inquiry, prepare a quotation, confirm fitment, discuss shipping, and support after-sales communication.
For custom brake caliper orders, inquiry data may include vehicle model, VIN or chassis number, wheel size, front and rear caliper notes, brake disc size, brake disc style, caliper color, center ring, caliper logo request, name, phone number, postal code, and delivery address.
If you create an account or place an order, we may also store billing and shipping addresses, company identity information, order history, transaction references, and support records needed for normal B2B order handling.
- Vehicle and brake setup details help reduce wrong-part and wrong-finish risk.
- Contact and delivery details are used to reply, quote, ship, and handle order communication.
- Functional cookies may be used to maintain login state, cart contents, checkout, and basic store operation.
2. Vehicle photos, installation photos, and claim evidence
You may send photos of the wheel, brake area, caliper position, brake disc, product label, carton, inner packing, damage area, or installation detail. We use those photos to understand fitment, customization, shipment, and after-sales questions.
Do not send unrelated personal documents or sensitive information unless we specifically request it for order, customs, payment, or legal verification. If a photo contains visible personal information that is not needed, crop or cover it before sending.
- Fitment photos may be kept with the inquiry or order record for repeat-order support.
- Claim photos may be shared internally with sales, packing, warehouse, logistics, or support staff who need them to review the case.
- Photos are not used for unrelated advertising without separate permission.
3. How we use your information
We use inquiry and order information to answer questions, prepare quotes, confirm product details, check custom finish requirements, arrange packing and shipping, keep support records, prevent fraud, and meet tax, customs, accounting, or legal obligations.
We may also use order history and previous inquiry records to make repeat purchases easier, especially when a buyer returns for the same vehicle platform, caliper color, logo, or shipping destination.
4. Cookie preferences, analytics, and advertising
Essential cookies are used for security, cart, checkout, account access, saved products, language preferences, and the storage of your cookie choice. These functions remain available when optional cookies are rejected.
Analytics and advertising storage are denied by default through Google Consent Mode v2. Google Analytics measurement and Google Ads advertising or remarketing storage are enabled only after you accept the relevant optional category.
You can reject optional cookies, accept them, choose analytics and advertising separately, or use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer later. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate processing that occurred before the preference was changed.
- Analytics helps us understand page use and storefront performance.
- Advertising consent allows Google Ads measurement and remarketing signals.
- Optional consent choices are stored for up to 180 days unless you clear browser data or change the setting.
6. How long we keep information
Inquiry records may be retained so we can reference earlier fitment, custom finish, pricing, shipping, and support discussions when buyers return for repeat sourcing. That is especially important in B2B auto parts trade where orders often repeat across long timelines.
Order, invoice, shipping, customs, account, and payment records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, customs, fraud-prevention, contractual, and operational obligations.
| Record type | Why it may be retained |
|---|---|
| Vehicle fitment inquiries | To support quote review, repeat orders, and technical clarification. |
| Uploaded photos and claim evidence | To review fitment, packing, damage, installation, or after-sales questions. |
| Account and order records | To maintain customer access, transaction reference, commercial history, and compliance records. |
7. Your rights, storage, and security
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to provide a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or delete data that is no longer required for legitimate legal or commercial purposes.
Our website uses HTTPS to protect data in transit. Store and account data may be processed across borders where hosting, payment processing, support, and logistics operations require it. While no website can promise absolute security, we take reasonable steps to limit unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
- Administrative access is limited to authorized personnel handling sales, support, operations, or compliance tasks.
- Cross-border data transfer may occur when you contact us or place orders from outside the country where the site is hosted.
- If our privacy practices materially change, this page will be updated and the revision date will be refreshed.
8. Contact about privacy requests
If you want to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, contact us before submitting duplicate forms so the request can be reviewed in one place.
