Diameter is not clearance
An 18 inch wheel does not automatically clear a 345 or 355 mm rotor, and a 20 inch wheel does not choose between 380 mm and 405 mm on its own. Spoke profile, inner barrel, wheel width, offset and the approved template decide, so we let the wheel file close the question.
