Why the 10N Caliper Is Not the Fitment Result
This Audi A6 C6 big brake kit starts with the car because a 10N caliper identifies the component family, not the C6 mounting geometry.
The model and caliper on file
The supplied model is corrected from “Akebono 10” to Akebono 10N, the 10-piston family label used in the market. Akebono describes its 10-pot opposed-piston design with five pistons per side.
That description does not include a C6 bracket drawing. The hub, adapter and hose interface must still be matched to the A6 front corner.
Which A6 this page leaves out
The C6 was produced in Germany from February 2004 to June 2011. We keep only 2007–2011 from your wider range; a C7 or C8 is a different car and another product record.
S6 and RS6 are also separate models. A market reference for a C6 RS6 with 10N calipers cannot be used as A6 approval.

The 20–22 inch wheel range maps to a 412–440 mm rotor range on the seller’s record. A planning row is a release requirement, not a clearance result, and every rotor thickness remains To be confirmed.

Questions That Decide the C6 Scope
Why does 2024 not appear in the product year range?
Because C6 Typ 4F ends before that. The seller’s wider 2007–2024 brief is narrowed to the C6 2007–2011 subset; a 2024 A6 belongs to a later generation.
Can an S6 or RS6 bracket record be used for my A6?
We won’t assume that. They are separate models in the same C6-era family. A C6 RS6 10N market listing is background only until an A6-specific drawing is supplied.
Does a 20 inch wheel automatically clear the 412 mm row?
No. The row comes from the seller’s record, while the actual wheel needs a spoke template, inner-barrel measurement, ET/J and the 6.5 mm edge-to-rim check.
Can this 10N caliper use my original C6 rotor?
The product record is a complete front-axle kit with its own rotors and hubs. Reusing the original rotor is outside this record and requires a separate engineering review.
Is there a calipers-only version of this C6 kit?
Not in this record. A calipers-only request needs a separate quote and a written list of the brackets, hubs, rotors, pads and hoses you will supply.
